GoodGuide seems truly helpful. It's nice to see people taking more responsibility for what they're eating.

Here's some more stuff to worry about, as if you don't have enough already on your plate!

Water damage

A few weeks back while at the PGA Players Championship watching Ernie Els play golf I had just finished drinking a soda out of a transparent (what I thought was plastic) cup and was about to through it in the trash when someone tapped me on the shoulder and pointed out that it was made of corn and would biodegrade and should be placed in a special trash bin a few meters away. I didn't believe him until he pointed out the label on the underside of the cup. I was amazed.
