This week, Europe is being hailed as an affordable destination once again. Thanks to the economic mess in America, which has spread across the pond, the travel industry has grown a bit scared. In response, airfares are cheaper, hotel rooms are on sale, and tour companies have refrained from raising prices, reports Michelle Higgins of The New York Times.
Furthermore, the dollar is gaining some strength. According to The Chicago Tribune, “no one can explain exactly why” the dollar has improved, but its rise has made it “dramatically” less expensive to book a trip to several destinations, including Iceland, Thailand and Australia.

Hi,
I am just curious now; if Europe is an interesting destination (again), where do you go? Is Europe the same everywhere or do you have specific spots you prefer?
